By now, most people—our clients, business partners, friends, family, and the communities in which we live and work—have noticed DSC’s new look. And we’re happy to say that you’ve told us that you love it as much as we do!
About a year ago, we decided that it was time to update our look to better reflect who we are. We have a rich history in the Wasatch Front area of Utah and in several other states. We wanted to communicate that history and the reputation we have built over the past 80 years as the trusted and reliable underground utility contractor specializing in the installation of natural gas pipelines.
So, we went to work refreshing our logo and the signage on our trucks and equipment. We also launched a website—the first in the history of our company—and created our presence on several social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn) to highlight our employees, our company, and the work we do.
Enoch Smith is excited about DSC’s new logo and explained that it incorporates the gray and red that was the company’s trademark back when it was known as Enoch Smith Sons. “We did a facelift on our logo, and it really pops and stands out,” he said. “We’ve gone through a lot of transitions and several name changes over the past 80 years, and I feel like this new logo really brings everything together, incorporating the past into a fresh, new look.”
Enoch said that the logo is being noticed by everyone in the community and that the feedback has been extremely positive, even from the employees. “We thought our old logo was great until we started putting this one on our trucks and equipment,” he explained. “It puts a noticeable star on the equipment and the guys love it!”
Our new website has also drawn attention with its modern look, company videos, and project showcase. The site highlights our rich history, our experience and expertise in installing underground utilities, our family-like company culture, the services we provide, and many of our successful projects over the years. It is said that with progress comes change. We are proud of our new look and are thrilled that it hasn’t gone unnoticed, but we want to assure our clients and our community that although we look a bit different, we still offer the same quality, reliable service that you expect from us!
